 Description

Lactoferrin (LF), also known as lactotransferrin (LTF), is a multifunctional protein of the transferrin family. Lactoferrin is a protein found in the immune system, and is a common defense against bacterial infections, which it is able to do by binding to iron with a higher affinity than most proteins. Rh- Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein with antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory activity, for the potential treatment of cancers, asthma and chronic wounds.
