Function
Species variants differing slightly in specificity are secreted by Gram-negative bacteria Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Haemophilus influenzae. Type example of peptidase family S6. Some other bacterial endopeptidases with similar specificity are of metallo- type (see EC 3.4.24.13, IgA-specific metalloendopeptidase)
